THOSE NIGHTS IN MONTREAL BY BEVERLEY KENDALL

LANGUAGE OF LOVE VOL 1.5

Synopsis
An ex is an ex for a reason.

To Rebecca Winters, it’s not just a saying or the title to a catchy tune, it’s a rule she staunchly lives by. Especially since the break up with her ex. What’s the point in trying to fix the “unfixable”? Besides, only a girl hell-bent on more heartbreak would go back to the guy who bailed on her when she needed him most. But saying no to Scott is becoming more difficult than surviving the breakup itself. And unfortunately for her, the kind of pressure he's exerting is making her rule all too easy to break.

Scott Carver has given up trying to get over his ex. He’s still in love with her and their year apart has done nothing to change that. Yeah, he knows he screwed up. Just how royally, he wasn't aware of until now.

So when Becca agrees to give him a second chance, he grabs on to it with both hands. But it’s clear the only way things will ever truly be right between them is if he comes clean…about everything. He can only pray the truth doesn’t send her running—for good this time.

Reactions
I enjoyed meeting Rebecca when I read "When in Paris."

I discovered a fun and quite loyal young woman, sure of herself. She gave good advice to Olivia when she was concerned with Zach.
Then, Olivia, single at that time, had been hitting on by Scott at a party. After this flirting session, we had learned that this charming seducer was Rebecca's ex.
But even after a year appart from each other, their strong altercation had proved that feelings were still here. And the author had given some clue to leave us think that their breaking up was delicate and Scott had a lot to do with it.
So, I was dying to know what will happen...

Rest assured, there is no need to read the first book to enjoy this romance. The story can be read independently.
Of course, it is true that reading "When in Paris" permit to glimpse into the love life of the secondary characters. Its gives a slight advantage because the author gives additional details. So if you get the chance, read the whole serie "Language of Love".

The relationship between Rebecca and Scott is more mature while being more childish at the same time. I had a great time even though I was less attached than I expected. Perhaps because of all the barriers set by Rebecca to test Scott's love ...

Entertaining, the story is no shortage of twists or revelations either.
A good serie!

THOSE NIGHTS IN MONTREAL
BY BEVERLEY KENDALL
LANGUAGE OF LOVE VOL 1.5

Impressions
J'avais aimé rencontrer Rebecca quand je lisais "When in Paris".

Note
New Adult Romance
Due to language & sexual situations, recommended for readers 18+ yr.
