This title features a wide range of inspirational quotes, reflections, activities and affirmations that will provide readers with the motivation they need to live with more gratitude in their everyday lives for increased joy and fulfilment. Cultivating gratitude doesn't cost any money and doesn't take much time, but the benefits can be enormous, helping you focus on what you have in your life: friends and family, positive personal qualities, your surroundings, a healthy body, a vibrant mind - the list goes on.

Research has shown that grateful people tend to be less envious, more relaxed, more humble, more emotionally resilient and less materialistic. They have increased energy, greater self-esteem, increased productivity, and are able to build stronger relationships. What's more, when children see a thankful parent, they are more likely to become thankful themselves.

Impressions

Gratitude is very "en vogue" so you may have heard of a lot of advices.
It's also a way of seeing life that requires constant work on a daily basis. Reminding ourselves of the beauty of small gestures, of the importance of a smile or of a enjoying looking at a vivid blue sky can lift our spirits but only if we are able to stop, breath and appreciate what life is offering you.

I've liked the quotes and the thoughts proposed by the author as well as the advices at the end of the book.
It's a perfect book to start seeing life differently and to practice gratitude every day.
Light and easy to understand and to reflect on, it's a great companion after a long tiresome day when you feel blue or complaining about life issues.

Nice easy read.
